Awkwafina

Awkwafina started out as an American musician and rapper making sly songs that addressed questions of race and sexual identity with a comedic twist. Prior to her move into Hollywood her career, she could perform a variety of tracks. Nora Lum began her musical journey as a trumpet player. She was born in Forest Hills Queens, she was the daughter of Chinese immigrants and Koreans. Then, she started traditional and hip-hop training. In the college years, she remained focused on her studies and took up a degree in women's studies as well as journalism. In a short period during her time in Beijing, Mandarin language classes were also offered. The focus on music until the time she graduated. Her 2012 track My Vag a response to Mickey Avalon's My Dick found viral success across the Internet before settling on her debut album Yellow Ranger in 2014. In the year 2018 she got a series of notable parts, including Dude Ocean 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. In June she released her first film In Fina We Trust.
