She was born Christina Haack in Anaheim, California on the 9th July 1983. Her first employment was in the Real Estate Industry. She met Tarek Al Moussa while working in the real estate industry. They enjoyed a lot of success until 2008's stock market crash which resulted in a number of real estate investors and homeowners who were flippers fail. Tarek El Moussa and Christina El Moussa nearly ended up losing everything due to the crash. Their house was valued at $700 per week, compared to the $6,000 that they were paying monthly for their home. The business and economy as a whole, gradually recovered. HGTV as well as Rise to Fame Tarek in 2011 asked a friend to help him create an HGTV tape that showed Christina and her flipping through a home from beginning to the end. Pie Town Productions executives received the tape. They fell in love with Tarek and Christina. In 2012, the couple signed a deal with HGTV. In April 2013, "Flip of Flop" began its debut. Between 2013 and 2017, 92 episodes shown over seven seasons. The show featured Christina and Tarek purchasing properties located in Orange County. They would invest weeks in transforming the homes so that they could sell the properties for a the profit. Tarek's primary focus is deconstruction and renovations, whereas Christina is focused on designing.
